INdIGO ONLINE WORKSHOP
Information for speakers

Workshop details

The times of the workshop on 26 May are as follows: 9am-12pm UK time
A time slot of 20 minutes has been allowed for each presentation.
Please allow at least 5 minutes for questions.
There will also be a 30-minute interactive question and answer session at the end of the workshop.
The workshop will take place online via Teams.
As the project is a joint French/English project, the workshop will have simultaneous translation.

See the workshop programme below.

Sending of presentations

Presentations should be sent to the following address indigo.project@univ-ubs.fr by Friday 21 May
This will allow the interpreter to read them and prepare the workshop.
In addition, we propose to present the presentations on Teams ourselves, whilst allowing the speakers to take the lead in changing their slides themselves. This enables efficient changeover of speakers and eliminates any issues with speakers being unable to share their screens

Technical test

A technical test is planned for Friday 21 May at 2pm (UK time). It will allow us to test the connections, the broadcasting of the presentations and possible videos, the interpretation tool.

Simultaneous translation French/English

The event will be in French and English and two interpreters will provide translation.
To access the interpretation, you must bring a second device in addition to the one on which you are accessing the videoconference (smartphone, tablet, computer). You need to install the Interprefy application and enter the token that will be sent to you by email.

All this will be explained to you during the technical test on 21 May.

Other information

The event will be recorded. The presentations will be broadcast to participants after the event. Please let us know if this is not convenient for you.

There are currently about 60 registered participants. We can send you the list of participants if you want to have an overview.

There will be two moderators during the event: Simon Powell (MSE) for questions and Dalyal Copin (IRMA) for time management.
